WHAT WE DON’T EAT

PROCESSED CARBOHYDRATES For a while we supplemented our raw food diet with products like commercial rice cakes, oat cakes, rice pasta etc. We have now stopped eating these and other processed carbohydrate products as the grains have not been properly prepared to reduce phytic acid and these products are often rancid.


YEAST If we eat bread we only eat sourdough, usually with our home sprouted dehydrated grains.


SUGARS, AGAVE SYRUP, OTHER CONCENTRATED SWEETENERS


PROCESSED, UNFERMENTED SOYA


COOKED OR HEAT TREATED OILS except coconut oil, but we try to keep the temperature below 150 degrees C to ensure it does not smoke


CAFFEINE or other similar stimulants


HOMOGENISED DAIRY Although my children sometimes have some unhomogenised dairy (unpasteurised if possible) I mainly avoid dairy.


FISH, MEAT OR EGGS THAT ARE NOT ORGANIC OR WILD
