Can be made of woven or slightly stretchy fabrics. You need to get the right size for yourself, though some have a certain amount of adjustability allowing two people of different sizes to use it.

Pros:

    * Very easy to use

    * Okay for nursing

    * Excellent for quick trips/errands

    * Versatile – can be used for newborns carry, upright carry, hip carry

    * Fold up small

Cons:

    * Weight distributed to only one shoulder – not as comfortable for a heavier baby/toddler

    * Can't be loosened like a Ring Sling to get baby in and out

    * Accurate size is important – can be difficult to determine correct size

    * Parents/caregivers can’t share pouch if they are different sizes
