have raw cake and eat it

 

What better to have for breakfast to give you a burst of energy in the morning. A glass of green juice and a little mixture of yummy nutritional food in a pot. OK, it does not just have to be for breakfast, but this is how we like to eat it.


1 avocado, peeled

1 heaped teaspoon cold pressed, organic coconut butter

1 heaped teaspoon raw, organic cacao powder

5 raw organic dates

2 ripe pears

3 dessertspoons Chia Seeds, soaked overnight in a little water

200ml water


  1. 1.Put all ingredients except Chia Seeds in a blender and blend throughly. You might need to blend it in batches with a hand blender. Add extra water if you need it to get the blender going.

  2. 2.Mix soaked Chia seeds (they will have turned into a kind of ‘jelly’ like consistency with the water)

  3. 2.Put into bowls and serve (with green juice for breakfast if you like).
