have raw cake and eat it

 

These are so easy to make if you have the ingredients and my kids love it - it feels like a treat for them when actually it is a nutritious snack or even breakfast. A hand blender would work for this, or a high powered blender. Serves 2-4, depending on how hungry you are.


1 banana, peeled

1 avocado, peeled

1 dessert spoon cold pressed, organic coconut butter

1 heaped dessert spoon raw, organic carob powder

3 organic dried apricots, soaked

1 heaped dessert spoon almond pulp from making almond mylk (optional)

1 teaspoon chlorella powder (optional if you want to sneak it in for extra nutrition)

200ml water

berries or other fruit to decorate (optional)


  1. 1.Put all ingredients in a blender and blend throughly. You might need to blend it in batches with a hand blender. Add extra water if you need it to get the blender going.

  2. 2.Put into bowls, decorate and serve.
