have raw cake and eat it
The first time I made this I thought it would be a huge batch to last for a few days - it had all gone by dinner time and it was not me who ate them all, honest. Start this recipe in the afternoon to have some snacks for the next day (or longer if you are soaking and dehydrating nuts/seeds first). They are a great snack to take out with you to give your children when they are hungry. These will keep well for a few days in an airtight container in the fridge.
75g organic dates (fresh or dried)
2 organic apples, grated with skin on
200g sprouted, raw organic buckwheat (soaked 12 hours and sprouted 24 hours) or 150g buckwheaties 50g unhulled hemp seeds
100g organic almonds or other nuts
50g goji berries
BUCKWHEATIE BARS

1.Soak the dried apricots and dates for a few hours in water.
2.Rinse the dried apricot and dates with 200ml water in a blender until they form a puree. If you do not have a high powered blender, you can use a hand blender and do small quantities at a time.

5.Spread into a square onto a dehydrator sheet and dehydrate dehydrate for 2 hours at 53 degrees and then overnight at 38 degrees. They might take a bit less time with ready made buckwheaties.
6.In the morning, flip them over onto the mesh and score into bars with a knife.
7.They should be ready in a few hours - they should be crisp but retain some moisture.
