have raw cake and eat it
We make this fresh every couple of days and store it in the fridge in a glass pitcher with a lid. The kids like it as a drink, especially if I add some raw carob powder to it. I pour it over my buckwheaties and fruit for breakfast. If you have a milk maker it is very easy to make raw nut mylks but you can also use a blender.
1 litre filtered water
1.Soak almonds in water for 8 hours, rinse and drain.
2.Put almonds and water in blender and blend for a minute.
3.Pour into a jug or lined with muslin or a nut mylk bag and strain.
4.Refrigerate and enjoy.
5.Use the pulp for recipes such as tomato almond crackers.
